I get asked pretty frequently about our favorite art supplies to have on hand. When my kiddos were smaller and before I opened the studio I created an art cart (seen above) with all of their supplies out in the open so the kids could come and create as they wanted. Basics like crayons, crayola markers, glue, scissors, colored pencils etc. As they’ve gotten older and we opened the studio our list has exploded. Here are our top 10 must have - most loved - most used art supplies.

• watercolors

• good paper

• pastels (oil and chalk)

• sharpies

• washi tape

• scupley and/or air dry clay

• tempera paint

• kwix stix

• 2 layer drop cloth (soaks up everything/can be cut into smaller pieces)
